Outdoor concerts in Canandaigua

Warm summer evenings were made for enjoying live music and, in Canandaigua, that means seeing some of the country’s greatest musicians under the stars at the CMAC amphitheater. Just minutes away from The Lake House, the state-of-the-art facility not only serves as a music and performance hub for the community but — with 5,000 covered seats and lawn seating for up to 10,000 guests — brings in big names throughout the summer in its impressive concert series.

In 2022 country music stars like Keith Urban and Dwight Yoakam will grace the stage along with classic favorites, including James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Journey, Dave Matthews, and more.  See the complete summer concerts in Canandaigua calendar here , then plan your concert getaway complete with perks and VIP service from The Lake House.

Canandaigua Arts & Music Festival

On June 15-17, Canandaigua locals and visitors will head downtown along Main Street for the Canandaigua Art & Music Festival. Running for more than 30 years, the festival showcases a variety of local artists and mediums along with live music, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and more.

Canandaigua Lakefront Art Show

Another longtime local festival, the 48th Canandaigua Lakefront Art Show will take place on July 30-31 on Canandaigua Lake’s north shore. The art show features work from both local and regional artists as well as non-profits and local food vendors.

Live Music at Sand Bar and Rose Tavern

When staying at The Lake House, you don’t have to go far for live music. Our Summer Nights Music Series brings in local Canandaigua musicians to play at Sand Bar Rose Tavern on select nights in the evening until 9 p.m. The live tunes pair perfectly with our lakeside views, inventive cocktails, and inspired summer dishes. See the full 2022 summer schedule here.

Whiskey and Woodburning workshops

From 3-4:30 p.m. every Thursday throughout the summer, join us for Whiskey and Wood Burning right at The Lake House. Sip on a hand-picked flight of house-selected whiskeys while learning how to create a rustic work of art by burning a design into wood. The workshops are open to both guests and the public.
